Allicia Thompson, Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician, is a lover of all things beautiful, peaceful, musical and furry. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating, her life took a circuitous route to bring her back to a “hands-on healing” form of medicine. “To be able to assist the body in it’s own natural healing process, to help relieve pain, enhance beauty and bring a smile to someone’s face who’s had a rough day, this is why I love Therapeutic Massage Therapy and Esthetics,” explained Allicia, who completed her degree in Massage Therapy in 2010 from Advance Massage Therapeutics and was licensed in Esthetics in 2014. She is proud to bring A World Away Massage & Spa to Kentucky.
